I am NOT associated with Whats Up Tucson Uncensored

A statement regarding a Facebook page called Whats Up Tucson Uncensored:

Hello --

I've been made aware of a page on Facebook called "Whats Up Tucson Uncensored". I did not create this page, have any access to it (whoever has created it and runs it has blocked me, actually), contribute any content to it, or am associated with it in any way. All the branding, logo, and images for that page has been stolen from me.

The person running it apparently does not like me or feels threatened by my existence, and they are posting some seriously awful things that are racist and homophobic, crazy political content, my legal name and address (you want to come over? I have beer!), as well as my cell phone number (you are welcome to call and text me, I am not one to hide). There are are also photoshopped photos of me up there as well.

They have used my Whats Up Tucson name without permission, my own legal name to make me look bad and make you believe I am the worst kind of person, branding of Whats Up Tucson, and of course, will never reveal who they are. Cowards at the highest level.

If you have followed Whats Up Tucson on social media for any length of time, you know that I attempt to post things that are not political, racist, or homophobic. I like everybody. The original mission of my page was to offer content that you couldn't easily get when I started 17 years ago like why red and blue lights are in your neighborhood, why are you stuck in traffic, what is on fire near me, etc. I have added lost dogs, helping people with gofundme's or community project, and I offer some of the cheapest advertising around where you can reach a large audience, so I can make a couple bucks for my work. You don't have to love or respect me, but I do try to put out some content that you and the Tucson community sometimes find useful.

If the Whats Up Tucson "Uncensored" page comes up on your feed for some reason, jremember that I have no control over what they post or the page.
